The 2017 Komen Baltimore Race for the Cure is about a 15 minute drive from Waterloo Place Apartments. Remember Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Upcoming Holidays National Taco Day Visit Clavel Mezcaleria to celebrate National Taco Day this year. National Taco Day is on October 4th so visit soon! "We are a family owned Taqueria & Mezcaleria serving food deeply rooted in Sinaloan ritual. We serve corn and flour tortillas- all made by hand. The flour tortillas are made from a 5th generation family recipe. The meats and seafood are expertly butchered in house daily. We strive for balance in respect to Northern Mexican culinary traditions and to the land we co-inhabit in Baltimore. The Mezcaleria serves only artisanal and ancestral Mezcal from the many beautiful states of Mexico. We also offer agave based cocktails crafted collectively by the bar team, all of who have been educated first hand on Palenques (mezcal distilleries) in Oaxaca and beyond." Clavel Mezcaleria is about a 7 minute drive from Waterloo Place Apartments. Happy National Taco Day! International Coffee Day Did you know that October 1st is International Coffee Day? Celebrate this month by visiting Argosy Cafe . "Argosy Cafe is distinctly Baltimore. We accomplish this by making over 92% of our menu in house. Sorry it would be 100% but we don't have the space for cheeses and Heinz pretty much nailed Ketchup. Located in the first floor of the Munsey Building, named for Frank Munsey, we have named the restaurant for his weekly pulp magazines. We provide many Baltimore and Mid-Atlantic classics with a twist. Not to mention the coffee, which we roast in house and brew in ways you haven't seen before. So come on in and join us on this adventure, if nothing else it will be delicious." Argosy Cafe is about a 6 minute drive from Waterloo Place Apartments. Happy International Coffee Day! Kirsch, who was one of Langdon’s first students at Harvard two decades earlier, is about to reveal an astonishing breakthrough . . . one that will answer two of the fundamental questions of human existence." The Sun and Her Flowers by Rupi Kaur "From Rupi Kaur, the #1 New York Times bestselling author of milk and honey, comes her long-awaited second collection of poetry.
